Why don't you give prices over the phone?

We want to make sure you get an accurate price, and sometimes that’s hard to do without a little research and figuring on our part. When you call us, we’ll ask you some questions that will help us plan and price a menu. Then we can fax, email or mail you a proposal. This doesn’t take long, and if you’re in a rush, we can get it done right away.

As well, if you’re shopping around, we encourage you to get a written quote from everyone so you can make a proper comparison.

We do have set pricing for our lunches and breakfasts, since these menus are generally standard. See these menu pages for details.

Do you have a minimum number of people that you cater for?

We require ten or more guests for orders featuring hot food. Cold menus require four or more guests.

We can suggest other options if you’ve got a smaller guest list and would like something hot.

Can you accommodate allergies or other special dietary needs?

Yes. All dietary menus are listed under SPECIALTY MENUS. Final details for dietary requests are due with final guest count.

If a specific need is required, we will accommodate. Please note: A Cappella is NOT an allergen-free facility.

How do you keep the food hot on the way to our function?

Orders leave our kitchen a maximum of 1 1/2 hours before your function for set up for each event in stainless steel dishes, covered with foil, and in air-tight thermal containers to keep food items at the optimal serving temperature for hours.

If a buffet is set up at your event, the food is then transferred to chafing dishes, heat lamps or steam tables to be held at optimal temperatures.

Do we have to purchase alcohol from A Cappella for our event?

No. Clients may supply their own alcohol but serving will require purchasing an event permit at liquor merchants.

If you wish for our staff to serve/bartend, there will be additional fees charged for corkage and staffing.

What's corkage?

Corkage refers to the supplies necessary to run a bar. This could include glassware, bar tools, mix or all of the above.

How do we book our event once we've decided on the details?

Lunch, breakfast, smaller orders and last-minute rush orders may be arranged via phone, email and online.)

For larger orders and events, fill out a Quote Request and we will follow up with a phone call. Once the order details have been determined, our event specialists will send a confirmation statement.

This is a guarantee and confirmation of the order. We will require the final guest count 48 hours prior to your event.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Certified Cheque, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or e-Transfers are accepted. We are unable to process debit transactions.

Thank you A Cappella Catering for another great meal. From catering an engagement party, a couple of Take & Bake Christmas dinners, Thanksgiving  and now a Father’s Day dinner I can always count on pleasant staff, reasonable prices, delicious food, easy delivery or pick up, clear instructions and easy clean up which allows me to be more relaxed on the day and spend more time with my family and guests. Always leftovers for family to take home is a bonus even after some have had seconds. I estimate it is per person, the equivalent to or less than dinner out.

The quality of the food, and how fast the service is amazing, its actually unmatched with other food trucks that we have had here,  our staff only have so much time for lunch and our customers want to eat and get back to the job as time is money for them. We want to say a huge thank you for all your help coordinating our wedding catering and bartending! Your staff did an amazing job throughout the whole day. We received many compliments on how delicious dinner and dessert was as well as how helpful the staff was.

We want to shout out one staff member in particular, we believe his name is Michael, for going above and beyond. He offered to handle a couple things that we originally had a guest be in charge of; he moved our infused water and charcuterie boards to the outdoor picnic table for cocktail hour and kept the water topped up. He also offered to set up the cider on the tables once we realized we had forgotten to do it. Everyone was so kind and had great attention to detail, but Michael went above and beyond our expectation and really helped us out!

We are so happy we chose A Cappella for our catering and bartending services and cannot thank you and your staff enough!
