For three decades, A Cappella Catering has prepared and served food for thousands of meetings, parties, and events…big and small. This week, like you – our has the world changed and we are now faced with the reality that meetings, social gatherings, and celebrations are being handled with sensitivities in mind.

For many, the show must go on – but with caution. It is our goal is to provide clients with food service options to minimize potential risks for the transfer of bacteria while enabling Edmontonians to function as close to business as usual, where possible.

It’s imperative, as a community we stay calm, positive and adjust to what could be our new normal.

To accommodate the revised needs of our valued customers – we have developed a series of single-serve meals as well as take and bake meals for purchase.

We have also implemented additional measures to our already high standards in food handling to ensure the safety of our our team and customers, including:

• Daily health safety meetings and reminders with our team to share new information as it becomes available and ensuring all staff are educated in evolving precautionary measures

• Enhanced cleaning protocols, with additional focus on high traffic and high contact areas
⠀
• Enhanced equipment cleaning and sanitization protocols
⠀
• Additional hand sanitization stations throughout our offices, kitchen, and warehouse

• Enhanced food handling protocols

• The introduction of individually packaged meals to minimize cross-contamination

We employ nearly 110 staff at A Cappella… From dishwashers, servers and delivery drivers to event specialists and administration staff. It’s no secret our business is very seasonal with holidays and events being our bread and butter. We are in the midst of our typical low season…
